OUR MINISTRIES

San Juan Care Center Gospel Service

Occurs every other Sunday at San Juan Care Center; located behind Penguin Coffee on Commercial Ave., at 1:00 PM. A ministry that takes Jesus Christ to our immobile friends in rehab care, providing love through prayer and worship.

Sunday school

Infants, Toddlers, and grades 1-6 attend classes after corporate worship.  Teaching and classroom-assisting serving opportunities abundantly exist. Our specific purpose is not to undermine parental authority to teach the bible to their children, but to support this effort by offering relevant and age applicable bible teaching to all the children. Please contact Denise Johnson at:  denise.livingrock4sq@gmail.com

Youth

There is no active youth group at the time. The youth participate at our Stepping Stones Family Night, and the Sunday morning worship gathering.

Music

Multiple opportunities exist to serve: For those with music and singing gifts and a passion to pursue God, both personal and in corporate settings. Two worship teams serve in corporate worship on Sunday Mornings and Wednesday evenings. For those with more of a techy flair, the sound board and visuals (PowerPoint & Easy Worship) are a great place to get involved in music. Please see Pastor Steve or Melissa and Alex Stork, for more information.

Community service

22nd Ave. Apartment Outreach Occurs on Wednesdays

during the summer, and occasional special events; a food and fellowship ministry to encourage compassion, hope, and a sense of belonging to our friends who live in the heart of Anacortes.

The Brick: quaterly event, in which we purchase and prepare a hot meal for our residents in downtown Anacortes. A typical Sunday evening includes multiple ways to get involved: Food prep and serving, personal conversations and ministry, and music.  We meet at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (1300 - 9th St.) at 4:00 pm, and finish clean up by 6:00.

San Juan Care Center Gospel Service. Every other Sunday at 1:00 PM. Come and sing hymns, encourage and love on the residents, who can't make it to a conventional church service.
