youth
About
We believe parents are the primary teachers for their kids as they learn about Jesus and learn to follow Him. Our youth staff come alongside that primary influence and support and encourage families and their children to keep growing in the Lord. Our purpose is to provide a safe place for kids to be and learn about God’s love and the Bible through spending time together, studying the bible, and serving others.
Youth Group
Our Youth Group meets on Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. We meet at Living Rock Church in the main sanctuary.

Day of solitude
September 26th 9 AM - 1 PM
LR Youth join us for a Day of Solitude at Heart Lake.
Bring a lunch, Bible, journal and something to sit on(optional). This will be a time to spend in prayer and reflection.

Kids
Sunday morning
Upon arriving, families can check in their child(ren) at our Kids' Ministry Check-in Station in the lobby. Children and babies will remain with parents in the main service during worship. Small clipboards with coloring and activities pages are available in the sanctuary for young kids to do while in service. After worship parents will be directed to take their children to one of our age specific Kids' Classes for the remainder of the service time.
We offer classes for children between birth-5th grade during our Sunday morning service. Older children (6th grade and above) remain in the sanctuary for the rest of service.
A strong value we have here at the church is that kids are welcome and a part of what we do when we gather. We are firm believers that parents/grandparents/guardians are the primary disciplers of their own kids and so we hope to come alongside families and encourage and equip them to do that work ongoing at home. But when kids are here, we want them to feel welcomed, loved and involved.
Volunteers needed
Are you looking for a way to serve our church? Our kids ministry is built on volunteers who love God and desire for the good news of the Gospel to grow in our kids hearts.
We are currently looking for more volunteers to add to our Sunday morning team. Our volunteers serve one Sunday each month in one of our four classrooms. If you want to know more please email Dana Twichell
