Our purpose is simple: "We exist to  "Love God,  Learn Together,  and Live it Out"...That others would know Him.

Church is not a building; it's a force of unified believers and followers of Jesus Christ, motivated by the Holy Spirit to be a light in our community, 7-days a week, not just on Sunday morning.

Our strategy* is to "Do what Jesus did:"

1st: Preach The Gospel.  Our highest priority is to see men, women, boys and girls, come to know Jesus Christ and to know they are in "right standing" with God, understanding that their sins are forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ. (John 3:16)

2nd: Establish A Ministry That Affirms Family. Loving and following Jesus should not tax and burden the family...it should empower the family. "We will not do for a family what God ordains a family to do for themselves." (Deut. 4:9, Proverbs 22:6)

3rd: Make Disciples, Teaching Them to Obey Scripture.  We believe that "Every member is a minister." The goal is to work yourself out of a job, "Teach people to do what you do, basically the same way you do it."  (Matthew 28:19-20, 2 Timothy 2:2)

4th: Identify The Home As The Principle Site of Ministry. "Home and church dynamics should be similar." The goal is to obey the great commission from our front door. (Acts 2:46 and Acts 5:42)

5th: Contend For The Priority of The Authentic Worship of God.  If nothing else, we will worship God in a way that is inviting to both followers of Christ, and those wanting to know Him.  Worship is the atmosphere in which the Holy Spirit most freely works, always mindful that how I worship can either draw others to Christ, or distract them from Christ. (John 4:24, Psalms 111:1, Ephesians 5:19)

6th: Be As Much Like The Church of The Book of Acts As Possible.  This is "Jesus returning for a church like the one He left." We will contend and strive for authenticity at all times. (Acts 2:42-47, Eph. 5:27)

7th: Bring The People of God Into A 'World Christian' Context Of Life and Ministry. Jesus might return today; "Does that understanding have a conviction and effect on my life today?"  (Matt. 24:14, 28:18-20, and John 17:23)

8th: Discover The Effectiveness of The Small Group.  Through small groups we strive to mature God's people and release their gifts.  The small group is the backbone of the church.  (Mark 3:7, 13,14, Hebrews 10:19-25)

9th: Reproduce The Local Church As Often As Possible.  We believe in church planting.  "Anything healthy is worth reproducing." (2 Corinthians 12:14)

10th: Maintain An Interdenominational Nonsectarian Spirit.  We are part of a larger body of Christ.  Our local community is made up of many fellowships.  We support the philosophy of "One Church" and will strive to respect all Christ-following fellowships.  (Matt. 8:9, Eph. 4:11, 5:21, Proverbs 24:6)

11th: Declare That The Kingdom of God is At Hand.  "Let's not play church; we all need to know who we are in Christ."  We will fight to contend for the belief and attitude that 'The gifts of the Spirit are for today."  (Hebrews 13:8, Mark 16:17-18, James 5:15)

* Nothing tested and true is worth recreating.  "Our strategy" is 2000 years old and time tested.  The preceding 11 declarations are as outlined by Dr. Jim Hayford in his latest book, "The Church Has Left The Building" found in Appendix 1, pages 111 to 117. (Wine Press Publishing, 2011)
